RSVP BEFORE 4/6! IF WE DONT GET AT LEAST 10 RSVPs BEFORE THAT DATE, THE MEETUP WILL BE CANCELLED! We are close fairly close to Philadelphia so if you live anywhere near that area, this meetup is for you!
So as you all know, 4/13 is coming up! So Alison and I have decided that this was a good opportunity to host a meetup.
Washington Lake park is really big and has a nice area for picnics and such, as well as a nearby grassy field so there will be plenty of places to sit! Most of the tables are in the picnic area (which has a lot of trees!) but there are some that arent in the trees as well. The field is in front of a big stage, so it will be fairly easy to find the location we’re gathering at. This will be a picnic and you have to bring food for yourself, and snacks or drinks to share with everyone else! There will also be a list of items to volunteer to bring, and people NEED. TO. VOLUNTEER TO BRING THINGS. PLEASE!
THINGS YOU SHOULD BRING:
- Food for yourself (required. please dont come without at least a sandwich, we can’t feed you!)
- Snacks/drinks to share with others! (required)
- Something you signed up to bring! (reaaaalllyyyyy required, but if you didnt sign up to bring anything then you dont need to)
- Money! (just in case you need it. there are also vending machines that sell drinks on the premises, which at the moment cost $1.25.)
- A big blanket/towel to sit down on (really recommended in case you want to sit in the nearby field)
- Portable music player/radio! (optional, just in case you want to listen to some music)
- Sketchbooks and pencils! (and other art makin items of your choice, just dont be messy with them!)
- Yourself (hur)
- Anything else you would like to bring!
Please sign up to bring the following items! (things we actually really do need)
- Paper Plates! (one person)
- Plastic or Styrofoam Cups! (two people)
- Napkins! (two people)
- First Aid Kit! (One person, we might have this one covered though, however offers would be nice)
RULES (We’ve made these rules to coincide with the rules of the park and we cannot change them.)
- NO CAN TOWNS, COSPLAY WEAPONS, DRUGS, ALCOHOL, GAMBLNG, TRESPASSING IN CLOSED OFF AREAS, SLEEPING, YELLING, OR SELLING ANYTHING.
- BE CLEAN! NO LITTERING, FRIENDS.
- DO NOT HOG THE PICNIC AREA TO YOURSELF. (referring to the entire group)
- PLEASE DONT BE INNAPPROPRIATE! There are a couple play areas around and children may be present.
COSPLAY
As much as we would love to see you all in cosplay, the area we will be in has a bunch of sticks and such that could potentially ruin things like godtier hoods/wings and the like. So if you want to cosplay, PLEASE keep it casual. We’ll make you remove any wings or hoods that could get damaged. It might also be pretty warm that day, so please no body makeup! Wigs are perfectly fine.

Sorry folks, I’m not sure if I’m gonna be posting much more to this blog! Maybe one day but I can’t find the motivation for it.
